So I found this gem in The Daily Universe's Police Beat:
Animal problem
July 4: An owl was found in the former president’s Home. An officer communicated with the owl and it left.
July 6: An injured bird was reported on campus. An officer helped the bird into a pine tree.
What I want to know is how did an owl get into the president's home in the first place, and how do you speak owl? I give props to the officer, I am glad that BYU police have decided that owl is an important language for the officers to be fluent in.
My theory is that the hurt bird was actually the owl the officer communicated with.
