We have made it to DC. When we arrived at BWI we learned that our ride to DC was busy executing a search warrant, so we stayed in Baltimore for a bit and ate really good BBQ. After dinner, the trip to DC was exciting. We literally had a police escort to our apartment. Thankfully we made it without trouble and we are now proud tenants of a studio apartment. Above are some pictures.
Today we went to church. It is a bout 30 minutes away on the metro and we meet in a converted row home. The ward is small, with a lot of French speakers, so I actually got to use my French, and by the time we left for home, we were both called to work in the in tutoring program. (for more information about the program read your April Ensign).
We are excited to spend the summer here and will keep you posted.
